Kinga Żabicka, a graduate of the Project Management specialisation at the Faculty of Management of the Wrocław University of Technology, was awarded the Bronze Medal in 2025 in the GPM® Global Sustainability Awards (Fundamentals Award) competition. Ms. Kinga received the award for her master's thesis written under the supervision of Agata Klaus-Rosińska, DSc, PhD, Eng which analysed sustainable project management in the IT industry. Her work was recognised by an international jury for its practical application of the GPM P5 standard and its recommendation of the PRiSM™ methodology as an effective way to integrate sustainable development into one of the most important sectors in the world.
This exceptional achievement demonstrates the high level of knowledge and commitment of the winner and promotes conscious and responsible project management in academia and the IT industry.
The Gold and Silver Winners of this prestigious competition were Duyan Le from SKEMA Business School and Mohammad Fallah from Iran University of Science and Technology, respectively.
