The Urban Innovation Center: Architecture, Engineering, Technology, Mobility (CIM) has been established at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. On April 17, 2024, at the initiative of prof. Lukasz Sadowski, director of the newly established Center, the inaugural meeting of the Council was held. By the decision of the Rector of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, prof. Arkadiusz Wójs, DSc, PhD, key positions in the Center were taken by:

Anna Brdulak, Ph.D., W8n - Deputy Director
Wawrzyniec Zipser, DSc, PhD, Eng, W1 - Deputy Director
The Center's Council, chaired by prof. Cezary Madryas, is composed of male and female experts representing, in accordance with the principle of interdisciplinarity, various fields of science.
At the meeting, the strategy was discussed, establishing working groups and planning the next steps in defining the Center's strategic directions. The Center's mission includes planning sustainable structures, designing smart buildings, zero-emission transportation, and developing smart urban systems.
