In the 20th edition of the Project Master Competition, organised by IPMA Poland, four graduates of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology were among the winners:

• Ms Julia Gacal (title of thesis: Design of a tool supporting project planning in a selected local government unit using MS Excel and VBA, supervisor: Ewa Marchwicka PhD, Eng) won in the bachelor's/engineering thesis category;
• Ms Oliwia Luty (title of thesis: The role of asynchronous and synchronous communication in hybrid project teams in the IT industry, supervisor: Agata Klaus-Rosińska, DSc, PhD, Eng) won in the master's thesis category;
• Two theses supervised by Prof. Dorota Kuchta, DSc, PhD, Eng received honourable mentions: Jakub Piwiński (Design of a project management tool for the ‘Project Management Group’ research club based on the Kanban method) in the bachelor's/engineering thesis category and Joanna Szeloch (Metrics-based sustainable project management of public projects) in the master's thesis category.
