"Raise excellence in R&S&I in HEI for Widening Countries" (Unite.WIDENING) is another project within the European University Alliance Unite!, following the UNITE.H2020 project completed in December 2023. It aims to further raise excellence in science and in knowledge valorisation of Alliance universities through increased and interwoven cooperation with Universities from Widening and (Portugal, Poland) non-Widening countries.
For the implementation of the project, a consortium consisting of: Universidade de Lisboa (Coordinator), Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Politecnico di Torino, TU Graz, TU Darmstadt, INP Grenoble, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Aalto University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology received funding of €4,998,467.
The K84 Department takes care of the project's risk and quality management, Agata Klaus-Rosińska, DSc, PhD, Eng. is the coordinator of the Quality Advisory Board and Work Package Leader WP1 Project Management and Quality Assurance on the Wrocław Tech side. Her activities are supported by Joanna Iwko, PhD Eng., and Alicja Krawczyńska, MSc Eng.
