By decision of the Rector of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Prof. Arkadiusz Wójs, DSc, PhD, Eng., the K84 Departament of Project Management, Quality Management and Logistics was established at the Faculty of Management on  October 2, 2023. The new Head of the Department is Agata Klaus-Rosińska, DSc, PhD, Eng, and the Deputy Head of the Department - Prof. Dorota Kuchta, DSc, PhD.

The new department was created as a result of the division of the Department of Management Systems and Organizational Development, where it previously functioned as a scientific team, focusing its research around the topics of project management, quality, logistics and sustainable urban management. These areas will continue to lead the scientific work of the new department.
